Where can I donate my can tops?

I am collecting the tops of the cans of soda and on cat food. I want to donate them to a charity but I'm not sure where I can donate them to. I live in New York and I would like to donate them to a place that is in New York or close to it. Any places and addresses would be helpful. Thank you!
