Can a chemical burn scar become skin cancer?

Last year i held computer screen duster upside down and it froze and gave me a chemical burn. I have circular scar on my arm. I went to the doctor about my back and she just noticed it and was like make sure you put sun screen on that. I was like ok. But i was thinking the other day about cancer because i always worry about things like that and i was wondering if my scar can become cancer? im 15.
